Monica Imelda Elizabeth McHugh January 26, 1951-December 19, 2009 At rest, Monica Imelda Elizabeth McHugh, beloved daughter of the late Frank and Cecile McHugh, survived by stepmother Eileen McHugh, cherished sister to David, Karen, Shelley, Mary (Rochells), Tracey, Paul and the late Noreen and Kevin. Devoted aunt to Tara, Damien, Jack and Megan: great aunt to Hayleigh, Jayson, Kayla, Frank and Mya. Loved by stepfamily, relatives and dear friends. Monica was proud of her independent life and her work history including Ladyfingers and Safeway and was a big fan of sports and Star Trek. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, December 22nd at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave., Daly City, followed by a Rosary to begin at 7 p.m. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 23rd at Mater Dolorosa Church, 307 Willow Ave., South San Francisco. Interment at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery will be held privately at a future date. Donations may be made to The Special Olympics, SPRED or The Arc of San Francisco in memory of Monica McHugh
