I cannot even imagine losing a child, my heart aches everytime I think about her parents loss. Monica was such a beautiful young lady inside and out. Her smile was always so big, and so bright. She was loving, caring, and her smile was infectious. She is at rest and at peace now. Monica I love you and I will see you again.

I will always remember her infectious smile and laugh. She was so tough and optimistic, even when confronted with the most difficult battles in life. When we had those difficult conversations when her cancer came back, she took a big breath and was ready to trust God and fight on. She has left a permanent imprint on my heart, and I think of her often as I fought my own cancer battles. I know she is with the angels now. Rest in peace friend.

Remembering all the adventures we lived through. At peace knowing that you were received by our heavenly father with a crown of roses.

One of the most beautiful and kindest souls. Monica had a way of lighting up a room and had the right words to comfort. A true patient advocate. She put you immediately at ease. I was so lucky to have had the chance to work with her. Sending love and comfort to her family.

My heart hurts. I still can’t believe it. Monica I will cherish the memories we had in school(especially HS) cuz we had such good times.
One of my favorite memories is our church retreat. We had such a great weekend. It was fun, full of laughs and that is what I will remember about u.

Thank you for the laughs we shared, Monica.

Monica soul and spirit will always live on. We had so much fun together at reggae shows. When I was in the hospital she came every day to see me and even washed and braided my hair. I loved when she was teaching Zumba and I gave her the nickname of Zumba. She will be missed greatly !
