My sweet Mom! Due to your Alzheimer's we lost you a long time ago but now your body is gone and buried.

Forever I will carry with me the goodness you taught us and lived every day of your life. You didn't have a mean bone in your body and always looked for the best of everyone, even those who crossed you in the past.

The funeral service was fantastic; just what you would have liked, lots of pink roses and other lovely exotic flowers.

So many people came from the old neighborhood as well as from your town. You touch the lives of so many people and I know you're in heaven as your life was lived with goodness, humor and of course that smile and those gorgeous blue eyes.

My Monika, I love and will miss you until I draw my own last breath.

Your loving son,
Mark

I hope your spirit remembers that you were loved always and forever. I'm sorry I couldn't be there. But I know you will always be helping me guideing me and loving me. May your transition to your next life be as a amazing as you were in this life. I'm happy you are finally at peace.

Thank you Kim and John Mc Ginty for your kind words. Kim, Mom always thought of you as her second daughter.

Mom, you will be missed and have been missed for many years now. Alzheimer's is a very cruel disease that not only takes the patients mind but can destroy the very fabric of the closest of famiies.

I was surprised by how many people showed up at the wake on Friday. Family, friends, friends of siblings. Mom cast a wide net and was beloved by so many, no matter what their age.

Thank you Dave Moore for being the best funeral director a friend can ask for and the staff at Heartland Hospice of Frankfurt, IL for the wonderful care my mother received, despite administrative problems.

Mom, what you taught us will stay with us forever and hopefully passed onto the next generation.

I love you, I miss you and know you're in heaven, hopefully looking down on us and guiding us throught this turbulent life we all lead.

Love and miss you forever!
Mark and David

Dear John and Family,
Please except our deepest sympathy on your loss of Monika. She was a wonderful neighbor and a great friend. She will always be remembered for her homemade bread. God must have needed a baker in heaven and so he called her home.

I always thought of Monika as my "other mother" when I was growing up. She was ALWAYS there when I needed her...with her loving spirit and kind heart. I hope she realized what an important role she played in helping make me the woman I am today. The many, many happy memories I have of her will be with me forever! With much love and deepest sympathy, Kim Koukola
