MASSICOTTE Monique The family announces with sorrow the death of Monique Massicotte at the age of 51 years at St. Michael's Hospice on Friday, October 16th 2009. Beloved wife of Neil Massicotte and loving mother of Sean both of Vancouver. Loving daughter of the late Laurent Nault, predeceased October 20th, 2008 and mother Rolande Nault. Dear sister of Louise Descoteaux (Terry), Gaetane Sonser (Doug), Nicole Berube, Michel Nault (Joanne Bradley), Laurent Jr. Nault, Colette Stewart (Michael) and Pierre Nault (Tracy). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and her extended family Clif and Jan Prowse. People knew Monique as the person with a positive outlook on life with a perpetual smile who faced adversity and overcame it. Monique was also a dynamic force and an inspiration for many of her colleagues. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Ocean View Funeral Home, 4000 Imperial Street , Burnaby, BC on Monday, October 19, 2009, from 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Rosary Cathedral Church, 646 Richards Street, Vancouver at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, October 20, 2009. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to BC CANCER FOUNDATION.

Monique was special, thoughtful, considerate & compassionate person. Her parents did a wonderful job with all their kids, and must be very proud, her family is so lovely and seeing them you know why Monique was the way she was, it was the "love".
