Mr. Bivens has been such an inspiration and a true blessing from God, since the day we met him. We will miss him dearly, but rejoice with him for we know he is with the Lord. We love each and every one of you. May God hold you, keep you, and surround you with his love and presence in the days and weeks ahead. All of our love, Mark and Kelli Patterson

So sorry for the loss for your family. Him and my dad (Hershel McDaniel) were childhood friends. He thought a lot about Monroe.

As a child, Monroe was my hero,, the older cousin who was so kind and protective of us girls. When the other male cousins got rambunctious and picked on us girls,, Monroe stepped in and put a quick stop to it. I have many happy memories of our childhood Bivens family functions. R.I.P. dear Monroe. Have a wonderful reunion with our family in Heaven. My heartfelt love and condolences to the family he leaves behind. Prayers for comfort and Peace.
