Morgan Budde Obituary
Morgan was born on May 3, 1976 to Sally Jean (Chiseri) and Douglas Budde in Brooklyn, NY. After Morgan graduated high school in his hometown of Fairfield, CT, he studied at the University of Colorado in Boulder graduating in 1998 with a degree in Environmental Studies.
After college, Morgan went to Oregon to work for the Department of Fish and Wildlife and then to DC in 1999 where he had an internship with The Wilderness Society. He moved to Alaska in early 2000 and then back to DC in August 2000 where he worked for a public radio station, WAMU, while applying to medical school.
Morgan attended medical school at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine (AUC) and pursued his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI. In 2016, Morgan opened a primary care clinic in Winchester, KY and became the beloved "doc" of the community.
Morgan had an avid love for dogs, cats, and any other animal that needed a home. Morgan was loved for his quick wit and sense of humor.
Morgan was preceded in death by his parents Sally Jean and Douglas Sr., his Aunt Deetz and Uncle Michael, and his grandparents Salvatore and Jenny Chiseri and Edmund and Alice Budde. He is survived by his sons Travis and Gavin, his longtime partner Christina, his brother Douglas Jr. Budde, his niece Mia and nephew Maximilian, Uncle Joe and Aunt Cheryl Chiseri, Uncle Eddie Budde, Uncle Buff and Aunt Diane Chace, and Aunt Liz and his cousins Kate, Michael, Nicholas, Tosca, Alisha, Christian, Bethany, Tara, David and Adam. He is also survived by his precious pups Stella, Izzy and Gabby.
We will have an intimate celebration of his life and release his ashes into the ocean near Vero Beach on August 16. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to New Day Recovery in Kentucky, MARR in Atlanta, or an organization that helps individuals and families fight addictions.

He was a great guy. I worked with him and he always made me smile even when I was not up to smile. Very nice guy. To me he was.enjoyed working with him.

This is a bit late since I just found out. I loved this guy, he a was good person and funny I worked with him and enjoyed everyday we worked together. I am saddened by this and he will be missed.

A heartbreaking loss. My condolences go out to all who are left to mourn the loss of Morgan. I met him one sunny April day at the pool of our shared apartment complex in Dunwoody, Georgia. We had a lovely conversation and discovered we once both had called Milwaukee and Connecticut home. I found him soft-hearted, kind, and easy to talk with. Morgan, I am so sorry for all the suffering you endured. My heart goes out to you.

Doc was such a great man. We became friends when he opened Quick Care in Winchester Ky. I could always count in him when I needed him. I miss seeing him. Prayers for his family. Especially his boys. He loved his boys and their mother very much...
