Devon Brooks, 84 of Reelsville, IN, passed away peacefully Sun. Nov. 30, 2025, at Putnam Co. Hospital.
Devon was born December 28, 1940, in Lamb, Kentucky, to Amos Raymond and Mary Soards (Brooks) Baldwin. Devon married Nancy Jo Franklin on April 30, 1961, spending 56 years together until her passing in 2017.
Devon was a graduate of Linden High School; Class of 1958. He was a Pipe Fitter Welder for Alcoa Aluminum, Lafayette, IN for 30 years and he retired at 55 yrs of age. Devon loved to mow yards, fix up his motorcycle, ride dirt bikes with his boys and take rides on his golf cart.
Devon is survived by his loving children, Debra (Dan) Mullen from Michigan, Mark Brooks (Dena) from, IN, Matt (Michelle) Brooks from Paragon, IN; four grandchildren, Kyla West of Michigan, Mekenzy Brooks from Brazil, IN, Rycah Brooks and Taryn Brooks from Crawfordsville. Two Great-Grandchildren; Brooklyn West and Aria Hadley, both of Michigan. Two Sisters; LaDonna Dyer; three daughters Jill (Dan) Lucas, Jodi Dyer, Jami (Carl) Crowder.
He was predeceased by his parents; Wife, Nancy Brooks; Sister, Phyllis Stakely, Casper, Wy; and Brother -in- Law Roy Jr. Dyer, Linden.
Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
