MORRIS FEITEL, M.D. (Age 83)
Of Bethesda, MD and Naples, FL. on Monday, January 23, 2017. Beloved husband for 50 years of Anne B. Feitel, who predeceased him in 2007; loving father of Charles L. Feitel (Sherry), David M. Feitel (Lori) and Robert J. Feitel (Caroline); cherished grandfather of Chaz, Sarah, Alexandra, Sam, Abby, Grace and Camilla. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 12:30 p.m., at the Washington Hebrew Congregation, Main Sanctuary, 3935 Macomb Street, NW, Washington, DC 20016, immediately followed by a graveside service at Garden of Remembrance, 14321 Comus Road, Clarksburg, MD 20871. Following interment on the 27th, the family will be sitting Shiva and receiving friends and family from 7 to 9 p.m., at the home of Lori and David Feitel. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Children's National Medical Center, 111 Michigan Avenue, NW, Washington, D.C. 20010.

Dear Feitel Family: Our sincere condolences on the loss of your Dad and Granddad! Morris and I shared the valedictorian honor at Weequahic High School in Newark,NJ in 1949! Then we went our separate ways until both landing in DC around 1961-at Holy Cross Hospital. He in pediatrics, Bart in cardiology and editor of "Montgomery Medicine for the Medical Society!
