There probably is not enough space to convey all the experiences I had with Mort. He was a mentor, friend, counselor, and more. I first met Mort in 1975 and we became friends from that time forward. We traveled together both in Europe and the USA on business. Mort and the firm assisted in building my business and he and they approached the relationship as friend's more than a legal representatives. Our business trips overseas were always an experience but it was the business travels in the USA that I remember best. Whatever city we were in and regardless of what business was to be conducted we had to coordinate our meetings around the Bulls games. Dinner was mostly at the bar in a restaurant so that we could watch the game while eating. While we shared family experiences Mort was always interested in how my family was and ready to assist whenever possible. That, and in addition to sound business and legal advice I owe much of my success in business to Mort. The past few years there has been less business to discuss but we always spoke once or twice per month to catch up, talk sports and family developments. I still think of picking up the phone to call him on occasion. I miss my friend. Nick

My name if Bill Stone. I was one of Moe's roommates from Michigan. I loved Marty. We were inseparable the four of us Ivan, Morty, Herbie and myself. Moe was a legend. A brilliant person, but a totally legitimate character when we met in Ann Arbor. It became a Bond for life in the later years, physical problems, and distance separated us, but we're always a phone call away, consistently stayed in touch, and had wonderful visits. He was such a special guy, a loving father, a loyal, lifetime friend and roommate, a great professional, and always a source of fun and joy. I will miss him terribly as we all who were close with him personally and professionally. God bless you, Mo, and I'll get seats for us near midfield for the next game in the sky

I had the privilege of sharing time with Mort over the last 15 years. Mort was exceptionally brilliant and knowledgeable across many fields. I always learned something from our conversations. Mort was also generous in community service. Deepest condolences to Mort´s family and Ms. Ann.
