The Strong Family will always have fond memories of "Buttons." When he was young, Buttons always had the BEST collection of comic books!!!

To Mae, Sharon and Nell, please accept my deepest sympathy and condolences on the passing of Buttons. I remember when Terri, Sherri and I moved next door to the White family in Friendship Village. Mae, you brought over a loaf of Pumpkin Bread, giving us a first taste of that wonderful delicacy, but most of all, showing such kindness and love to our family. Nell and Sharon came over and introduced themselves to Terri and Sherri. And then, came Buttons! Big,Beautiful Smile that won my heart over. From that day until he left Kansas City, he took my 2 daughters and became their big brother, taking them to school and parties. Making sure they had a way home before he left them. Buttons was a typical big brother and I had no worries when I knew that Buttons was close by. Although I didn't see much of him after he left, I continued to remember the good times we had with this family. May God give you the peace and comfort that only He can give in your time of sadness. The girls and I will cherish the memories of happy times, of joyful smiles, of hearty laughter we shared.
