Very Special guy. I worked as security for a fabric store and Ty would park in front of the store. He’d come in and say “security don’t give me a ticket, I’ll be out in 5 minutes. Sometimes it would be 20 minutes. When he would check out and pass me, he’d laugh and say “I know I know” and we would laugh and he’d hug me and say “see you next time “
Ty you will be missed tremendously. Save a spot for me big guy!!!

My Heart goes out to the family I was blessed that I had a chance to meet Mr. Tyrone he made me and my friends prom dresses back in 2000. Flint Northern and he also made my dress for the 8mile movie primer in 2002. Mr. Tyrone was so amazing.

You had an amazing spirit. I enjoyed our talks at the fabric store. You will truly be missed my friend.

I have known Tyrone since 1982 went to school with him in jr. high school. Tyrone used to breed my hair in the classroom every day he did something different to my hair I had very long hair I always said if I ever married again he would be the one to make my dress the Lord knows I will miss him until we meet again you will be God‘s loving angel.

It was a pleasure to meet Tyrone when he participated in our Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Jabberwock. I was a young designer at Hurley Medical Center and Tyrone was enthusiastic when I taught the "Consider Design" workshop. I later introduced him to my Soror Eunice Johnson at the Fashion Show at Whiting Auditorium. I was so proud to hear of all his success. Sincere sympathies to the Kirkland family. Sir Tyrone created dozens of my circus spectacular long coats that became my signature persona at The Palace of Auburn Hills, Van Andel Arena, CoAmerica Park, Tommy Hanneford Royal Hanneford Circus, Circus Royale, Japan Clown School, Clowns of America International, World Clown Association and numerous clown-competitions!
I will miss his creative genius in helping me become the first African American male to be inducted into the Midwest Clown Hall of Fame through his professional designs.

I had the privilege of being a model for Tyrone for his Wedding Gown collection. I did phots shoots for him and accompanied him to Wedding Expose as a Live Model. He was always a joy to be around. I will miss my friend tremendously. I pray God gives the family strength and understanding during their time of bereavement.

I had the pleasure of regularly serving Tyrone many, many years ago at Kinkos on Miller Rd. He had the gift of making anyone lucky enough to pass into his orbit feel seen, valued, and loved. The world has lost a bit of sparkle without him here. My condolences to his family.
