A life time has passed since the last time I was able to have a beer with Scott. But to this day his honest smile sits in my memory. He was a loyal Marine. A man who exemplified the meaning behind it when we call other Marines brother. My heart goes out to you his family, and us his brethren. Know, that in the last 20 years he was not forgotten. Nor will that change in eternity.

Scott was my Air Force brother and a friend. We never encountered each other without sharing a smile and a laugh. He was an extremely positive and kind hearted soul whose presence will truly be missed.

Erin, Lilly, and Molly,
I stopped by the other day after I dropped off your neighbors' sons from basketball. As I told your sister/aunt, if you need anything, please let us help. Did not know that Scott is also a Marine. Again, if you need anything, we are here. You are all in our prayers.

We had the pleasure of meeting the Blais family briefly at a Christmas gathering at the Pizza Shoppe in East Longmeadow 12/2019. They were a lovely family and left a wonderful impression on my husband and myself. Scott discussed his being in the service and how much it meant to him, his love of trying different breweries with his wife, of course last but not least their adorable daughters. Just a really nice guy, beautiful family! We were sorry when we heard of an airmen passing away and shocked when we realized who it was! Our deepest sympathy to all who loved him!

No words can express the loss of someone taken out of life well before his time. Scottie remains alive in our thoughts and fond memories.

To The Blais Family:

This honorable hero served his country and died for his country. May he rest in peace. Thank you for your service.

These prayers are coming from a 80 yr. old woman who had 4 brothers and a husband who served their country also. The (6) of you will meet up in heaven and share all of your memories of serving your country - good memories and probably some bad ones.

Continue to watch over your family and let them know you are okay.

Scott was a guaranteed smile and cheerful greeting,
Every time I picked up the crew Scott would give you the impression it was his first flight ever and looked so forward to what was to come.

MSgt Blais always had a smile and the willingness to help others no matter who or what crew position they were in. The joke master will be missed very much in the scheduling section. Thanks for all you’ve done. See you on the other side..
