Mural Whittaker Obituary
Whit married LyRene Hansen on November 20, 1948. He was the father of 4 children, 8 grandchildren & 18 great grandchildren. Whit loved to get together with the family and go camping and target shooting in his earlier years. He worked for Kennecott for 40 years. He was a Veteran of WW II.
Survived by sons: Earl (Margo) Whittaker; Paul (Teri) Whittaker; daughter Jena (Ed) Steinmann; sister Marie Youd. Preceded in death by parents; 4 sisters; wife LyRene, & daughter Tami. At Whits request there will be a graveside service on Monday, December 16, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.

Paul and Teri, Sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I know how much you loved that man. And I know the love a father has for his children. You guys hold a special place in our hearts for more reasons than can be expressed. Just know that you will see him again. Love Keith and Terrie Coleman.

So many wonderful memories you left me with grandpa. I will always cherish and will never forget. I know you are with Grandma and Tammy now and that brings a smile to my face during this time.
