I was lucky to know Carol and Murray Berger. I will always remember their kindness. They both did so much good. Kew Gardens will not be the same without them. They will be missed.

He was a wonderful civic leader & a very good friend. He & Carol will both be missed.

Murray Berger and Carol Berger have been two cornerstones of Kew Gardens NY through the latter half of the last century and into the 21st century. Their stewardship of community land use and conservation are legendary. They were mentors, teachers and volunteers for decades in Kew Gardens and Shelter Island. I was lucky to grow up on the same block 82nd road with them they were like parents to me. May they Rest In Peace

Thank you for your warmth and friendship - I will cherish the memory of our wonderful conversations. Your tireless, decades long service to your community will also not be forgotten and I hope we can commemorate and honor you as is deserved.
