Yvonne, Scott and Jackson, Murray hired me right when he learned he was sick. I never got to work under him which saddened me. I was so excited to work with him and learn from him. He was a dynamic man with wonderful gifts. His legend will live on with many. May his memory stay strong with each of you.
With my sympathies,

Yvonne,
I was connected to Murray in a different way - through business - as I was the executive search consultant who many years ago took Murray out of government and put him into his role with the Brewers Association as the organization's Executive Director, prior to his move to GrowthWorks. It gave me a special insight into Murray as a person...and we kept in touch over the years from more formal business discussions to bumping into each other in a store on West Broadway where we chatted about everything under the sun.
Even with me he always talked about you and his children - as Murray was a very proud father and husband. Always quick with a story, he was a role model in business, demonstrating great ethics and personal integrity.
I am glad to have known Murray Munro as colleague and you have my deepest sympathy.

Dear Mary,Yvonne,Scott and Jack,
Words cannot express the way we feel here in the UK,Murray and I spent happy days together on his visits to Lewis as a youngster and as a man.We shared some adventures together - memorable and happy.I was cheered to see him with Scott and Mary on their visit to Lewis a couple of short years ago, he was a very proud father then as I'm sure he was up till the end. Words alone cannot express our feelings of sadness at his passing. We grieve for you at this time and hope that if you ever make your way to the UK that you will get in touch and be welcome visitors with family here.He will not be forgotten.

Dear Yvonne, Scott and Jack,
We offer our deepest condolences to you on the passing of Murray, a great father and a loving husband. I consider Murray a true life friend having known him for more than 25 years. Murray was witty and had a larger than life personality. I shared many laughs and good times with Murray over the years. Murray often told me how much joy he had from being a father to Scott and Jack. He will be truly missed.

Dear Yvonne, Scott and Jack,
Murray will never be forgotten.
He was life force, a wonderful father, great husband and such a good man! Many memories remain, he helped me so much when the twins were starting hockey. (How to hockey lace a skate!) I have tied many game winning laces thanks to Murray! Though ,no longer are we needed to tie skates, the ability will be passed on, as the "Munro Way!"
We hope your memories keep you strong. Please know that Murray is dearly missed and that we are thinking of you.
Our deepest condolences .

Dear Munro Family,
I worked with Murray on a small number of projects. He was a true life force: passionate, humorous, dedicated and fiercely loyal. When introducing or describing Murray to others, I always said if you were in the trenches and under fire, there's no one you would rather have by your side than Murray. I'm grateful to have known him, and will miss him very much.

Dearest Yvonne,
Words cannot describe the sadness we feel for you and your family in the loss of your beloved husband, dear father to your boys Scotty and Jackson and close brother to Mary. It is with difficulty that we try to accept this as it seems like it couldn't have happened. We hope that you will be comforted in knowing that you have the support of all your family and friends and the wonderful memories you have will keep you strong and knowing that he has gone to a better place. I can't think of any words that could possibly be the right thing to say. Your family has always been so kind to my family and I wish I could make your sorrow go away.
