To all of my Tumback cousins & their families, my heartfelt condolences on your loss. I just learned of Murray's death less than an hour ago from Michael. My thoughts & prayers are with you. Murray was a gentle and kind kid and man and I'm so sorry his life had to end in this tragic way. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.

Murray was a regular visitor at the Shell on 22nd Street in Saskatoon. I enjoyed seeing and chatting with him on such a regular basis. On days when I was down, his visits never failed to lift my spirits. Murray, you will be missed.

My condolences to the family. I only met Murray & his brother Gordon on Christmas day at a mutual friends place. In that short time I found him to be a very friendly, out-going, thoughtful & kind-hearted man. I loved his laugh because it filled the room with happiness. I am thankful I was able to spend those few hours getting to know Murray, I only wish I could have gotten to know him more. He will be greatly missed by all & his presence will be missed by everyone who lives on the 100 block of Avenue P South.

To the Tumback Family please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of your loved one Murray. I got to know Murray from bowling when we made it on a provincial team together many years ago. He was very proud of that accomplishment and he was a friend ever since. He always had a smile on his face and a handshake every time I saw him after that. That was a wonderful service you had for him today and I am glad i was able to attend.
I hope that you continue to cherish the memories that you were able to share with everyone today.

We shared 5th Ave. West in a prairie town for funny chats and some serious road hockey. Murray never had it easy for there was no golden spoon for him in life, yet his heart was solid gold. I am proud to have spent my childhood and youth across the street from Murray and often over the years have reflected on those carefree times. May the Lord find a special spot for Murray with a hockey stick in hand... and a toque on his head.
