Myles you were an amazing friend to us all. You always made time for everyone. You were one of a kind, a true individual; funny, sharp, you could brighten the dullest leisure centre with your smile and make a day long swimming competition seem like minutes with your stories and humour. We will all miss you so much. Rest in peace.

Oh Myles what can I say, you really were a one in a million, guaranteed to make anyone laugh. I will miss hearing your laugh at the leisure centre & you shouting to me where's my little mate'?! Myles - I've only just heard about you today didn't believe it until I saw it and only wish it wasn't true . What a great genuine funny guy to have gone far too soon .My Memories of you are when you graced the ley inn as your local (has to be nearly 20 years ago now ) your presence was always known - you always had everyone laughing With your stories and witt and of course your unmistakable laugh - but your core you always made time to talk properly.
It was only in March just gone I happened to bump into you in whittle ( there was a little parking dispute actually but we didn't realise who one another was until you got out of your car and then we laughed ..at my lack of parking abilities mainly ! ) After all that time and you were still the same warm great character you always had been .We chatted about life since then and you beamed about your family esp your children and where you were all at in life ... was lovely to hear.
I'm so sorry this has happened, sending love and strength to your wife Andrea and your children, family & friends - always remembered Myles -rest in peace my friend x

Myles what can I say. I used to see you come and say hello to people at leyland leisure centre and then we got chatting about squash. I finally got a game with you and it was a cracker. I loved our warm conversations in the spoons. The last time I saw you was there and not so long ago and I still remember the chat. You made a good impression on so many people just by being yourself. I can still hear your laugh buddy. You won't be forgotten ever bud. Hopefully there is something more than this life and you're on your next adventure. Much love my friend.

Myles was a total one off. I remember attempting to describe Myles to my partner and then she met him..........it was everything I expected and more. A true legend and will especially be missed by many north west squash players including myself.
Always thoughtful and I will always remember his laugh and his bubbliness

Many years ago we made a promise to dad, to always stick together no matter what. Over the years through the good times and the bad, we have always been there for each other (unbreakable). All that time ago you put your arms around us and never let go, trying your best to protect us along the way. You carried the weight of the world on your shoulders and somehow did it with a smile and laugh. You are now at peace and you can finally get some rest and leave the past in the past. There has and will only ever be one Myles McKenna and we were lucky enough to have you as our big brother and best friend.
As usual you were right bro, we are very much going to miss you now you're gone.

Where do I begin ? Years and years of friendship saw us through good times, bad times and absolutely great times! I will treasure the memories of singing in the kitchen to John Denver, our holidays in Tenerife, the biggest and tightest hugs, Masterplan, Rocketman and of course the laughter ....... you were always the life and soul of any gathering it didn't even have to be a party. I have fond memories of school sports events, the 90's in the Ship and various clubs and events back then.You always livened up barracudas meetings when I saw you there with my daughter Mia and we would remember days gone by.
