I was so sad to hear of Mylon's passing, but so happy that he is with Jesus now. I was fortunate to have seen Mylon minister to our local youth at multiple concerts he hosted here. When he spoke to the youth at any concert, you could hear a pin drop. His words were heavily anointed. Once, back in the early 1990, he ministered in PA at a Creation Festival. My wife and I walked to where he was ministering but the space wasn't large enough to hold everyone who came to hear Mylon. I remember looking up a wooded hillside and it was packed with youth as far as you could see. He was such an anointed brother and is so missed. I am so happy that I got to receive his ministry multiple times.

Mylon had a beautiful ministry. Saw him in Houston and the Spirit fell in that place like a blanket. God's presence was so inspiring and real there. This was in the 80's. and I still remember it .

Mylon was my friend and brother in Christ. He sometimes thought of himself as a sheep in wolves clothing.
He lived an adventurous life and faced real dangers, real wonders, and real love. I'm thankful that he fought the good fight and endured until the end.
You are remembered and missed...

I am so saddened by this news. I am just hearing about this and it is so heart breaking! Mylon Lefevre is one of the most impactful people in my life. I first heard about him while listening to the radio back in the early 80's. The songs "Stranger To Danger" and "Child of the Father" would play and minister to me. After a few weeks I couldn't help but run out to purchase the "Brand New Start" and "Live" Albums which had a testimony of his at the end. My heart was 'broken' for the Lord and I was changed 'forever'. I fully surrendered my life to Christ when I realized that being a Christian didn't mean I had to wear a suit and tie all the time and or become someone other than who God made me to be. Over the years I purchased every album made by Mylon & Broken Heart and attended every concert they ever did in our region in the 80's-90's.
I was so blessed to meet Mylon personally on several occasions at his concerts. My wife and I ran into him once at Six Flags and had a wonderful conversation with him. After his concert he invited us back stage to meet the band. He even played around with my 1 year old daughter and introduced himself as "'Uncle Mylon' your dad's brother." Needless to say, we never forgot that and to this day we testify about how 'Uncle Mylon' changed our lives for the sake of the Gospel. His ministry has deepened my zeal for the Lord and led me into Youth Ministry. I am still in pastoral ministry and to this very day our church plays his music as interludes between services and at special events as appropriate.
Needless to say, God changed our lives through his ministry. We started a ministry called 'Alive Forever' in honor of his impact on our lives. My entire family, all of my friends, & churches I have been a part of over the years have all been impacted by the ministry of Mylon Lefevre! Anyone who knows me knows how much Mylon Lefevre has impacted my life and ministry. I truly love 'Uncle Mylon' and appreciate everything he and the Broken Heart band have done for the kingdom of God! We are "Live Forever" and live as a testimony as to how much God used him and impacted people's lives around the world!
There is so much more I could say but this just about summarizes it all. So grateful for his life and ministry. Words cannot express our heart's loss at his passing. But we do know that we will see him again as we join him in our heavenly reward! God bless you Mylon Lefevre & Broken Heart ministries for your sacrifices over the years. May your lineage be blessed and as the scripture often says, "for the sake of David My Servant..." may it be said of Mylon Lefevre.
He is truly 'Live Forever' and experiencing a 'Brand New Start'! Look Up!

This news saddens me immensely! I saw Mylon LeFevre and Broken Heart at First Assembly of God in Ft. Myers and was impressed! Mylon was the real deal.
He wanted the audience to know his Lord. I was also struck by how tight the band was in playing their music. Mylon, you impacted many lives and are already enjoying meeting many of these precious saints in Paradise. May God's blessings rest on your family. We will all see you again soon. --Laurie Van Wyckhouse, Foley, AL

I was blessed to see Mylon and Broken Heart in concert at Magic Mountain in Valencia. Favorite album: Crack the Sky Favorite song: He is Strong. Was happy that my friends from school got to experience his music with me. His understanding of the responsibility he had of having a platform to share Jesus still is an example to today´s Christian artists. Just heard of his passing as Skillet´s front man, John Cooper, quoted one of Mylon´s mentoring memories of today´s current artist. Mylon´s gift of singing his heart came through in any song he sang. He still inspires me daily.

I was saved in 1982. A young Pastor gave me a stack of Christian rock albums because he knew I was struggling giving up the worldly music. One of Mylon´s albums was on that stack. What a great encouragement at that time, and a go to till this day.

I appreciate Mylon´s loyalty to the Lord. His obedience is a testimony and an example of Faith that I can see!! Sometimes without the revelation we use others testimony to lean on and I have had a season of time where I´ve needed to rest on my brothers and sisters in Christ and I thank God for Mylon and Christi´s love for the Lord and their obedience to teach that God is good!
Thank you Lord for you sons Jesus and Mylon:))

I remember one of his first concerts with Broken Heart. They came to Akron Ohio in their RV that had holes in the floor board. I was part of the local production crew. After seeing their concert I said their going to a great band. And sure enough they were.

I met Mylon at the time of his father´s passing at Northside Hospital in Atlanta Georgia. He was larger than life and so devoted to his family. I´ll never forget that day. My condolences to the family for this loss too great to bear. May God´s peace be with you all during your time of grief.

My grandparents owned a Christian book store in Oregon City, Oregon. In the mid 80´s is when I first saw and heard Mylon´s records and tapes. I never got to meet him, but my pastor, JD Henderson, knew him and we were going to invite him to our church to speak, contemplating it the last couple of years. I look forward to meeting him in Heaven!

My first memory of Mylon was at York, Pa fair. It was there I fell in love with Mylon and Broken Hearts and his music. Christian rock was it for me, and I still didn't know Jesus as I should. A few years ago, I started reading my Bible and am on my 27th Bible right now, a lot of different religions so I could compare them. This is what Mylon has done for me. I am now a child of God, falling short of his glory once in a while, but knowing he is number 1 in my life. Thank you Mylon for your ministry and helping me along the way. God bless you.

I'm devastated that this righteous man has passed away. I learned of him through watching his program:
"On The Road to Freedom"- He was such a real and authentic brother, who loved God and loved his beautiful wife. Our prayers are with her at this time. Agnes M. Lee

Mylon, to me, is best known for the album & music he performed & produced with guitarist Alvin Lee of Ten Years After. Mylon visited Waco, Texas, after he became more devoted to Christian music and performed in (I think) the Waco Civic Theater near the HOT Fairgrounds. I was a journalism teacher in Waco at the time & I decided to go and take my copy of the album On the Road to Freedom by Mylon and Alvin Lee and get it autographed. Mylon welcomed me backstage and we talked about his life and what I taught and then it was time to take the stage. He asked me if I would pray with him and I did. What a wonderful guy! His concert was great but I would've loved for Alvin Lee to join him and rip a few of their album tunes! Rest in Peace Mylon! Say hello to all the great guitarists up there with you.

I love Mylon, he is so anointed in worship & the Word of God! I was a Youth Leader & brought the Youth to several of Mylon & Brokenheart's Concerts that were worship services! To this day my favorite is You're My Morningstar! I still play Mylon's music & love it all! It takes me to a deep place with Jesus! A favorite memory with Mylon is I met him in person at one of the Concerts, he had on his red leather jacket, he hugged me & blessed me as a Youth Leader & thanked me for bringing the youth to the concert! I am thankful Jesus touched my life with Mylon & he will be greatly missed. I am sure he is now in that heavenly choir & we will see him again! I pray Abba Father comforts & surrounds Chrissy & the family with His Presence, His Peace and His Love as only He can for He cares for them and loves them deeply! I love you all! I was in jr. high school when I saw Mylon´s "Stranger to Danger" video on "Real Videos" back in the early 80´s. His voice was so tender, yet had such power as well. Soon after I bought his "More" album & continued to enjoy & follow his music throughout the 80´s and 90´s. We still listen to his "O Holy Night" every Christmas. Well done, good and faithful servant. See you when I get there!

In 1987 I was in a small church in Poquoson, VA. My pastor prayed with me that night and I started going to church there. One night in a youth meeting the pastor gave me a Mylon Lefevre cassette of the album Crack The Sky, I rode around with it in my car for a week or more thinking man Christian rock wont be as good, but one I popped in and heard those drums on track one and that was when it all started. I went to two Mylon and Whiteheart shows in Hampton, Va and I am so thankful for Mylons obedience in hearing Gods call on his life, those blessing ride with me for the rest of days and is the Lord that gave those blessings to me and they can never be taken. We are flesh and blood folks, we are all going one day to stand before the throne of power, pray today for Gods grace on you, he is strong and able to save, may the Lord look over Mylon's family in a way one he can do, God Bless you all !!!!

Mylon's music was such a great inspiration to me when he was with Broken Heart. I helped set up several concerts for them when they came to Chattanooga, TN and we traveled to My. Patron COG to see them play on Monday nights. After moving to Oklahoma to attend Rhema, I remember the first time he came to a Kenneth Hagin Camp meeting. It was so exciting to see him get involved with the Word of Faith movement. I'm greatful to know he's with Jesus, but when I heard of his passing I couldn't help but be sad. He was and still is a very special man!

As a new believer, 40 years ago, I listened to the Gaithers. Without Him was by far my favorite song early on because I was a drifter, lost and without Jesus. I never knew the Elvis story. I knew Eva Mae was praying for her son and that time he came on and sang with Michael Engish, Paul Downing was when I started listening to his music. Recently found the last recording Bow Down and just love the words and music. He now knows Whom he wrote about all these years. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

Had the incredible blessing and privilege of working with Mylon Lefevre about 6 times while working at Crossroads (100 Huntley Street) and having him graciously host our late night call in program, Nite Lite. Tremendous memories and fellowship with this dear friend. He was one of a number of more contemporary music mentors who was part of nurturing my early Christian faith.
Sadly missed today but am excited to see Jesus with him in glory. Thank You Lord for our beloved friend...

I have followed the Lefevre family and Mylon since 1952 when I was four years old. The Lefevre family came to our church in Langley, SC. Through the years I went to many concerts. Mylon was an icon in Christian music. Without Him is no doubt one of the most touching and popular gospel songs today. God never gives up on us. He had a plan for Mylon and thousands were saved through his ministry. May God touch the family in this time of sorrow.

Condolences to Mylon's vast community of friends and fans, and to his family.
I regularly viewed Mylon's and Christi's travel and faith program, when it aired in my local area. The show was beautifully presented, with stunning on-location settings, Mylon and Christi's delightful personalities and sincere character, and valuable faith-based content.
Thank you, Mylon. We'll see you again, down the road!
