Dear Myrtle - Thank you for sharing a glimpse of your life. I will remember you for the rest of mine! You and your sister Martha must be having a wonderful time together now. I always enjoyed our visits with you and Martha on our occasional trips to Colorado. You and Martha were always so kind and thoughtful, my Dad really loved you two! And, I did too!

In Honor of Myrtle, on behalf of the Wm. Charles Walgenbach ( son of Wm. James Walgenbach, brother of Charles Walden ) family, I, Wm. Dan Walgenbach ( the 2nd eldest of 8 children ), wish to thank Myrtle for the fond memory she gave to me in sharing her life in a visit with her in 2003. Her recollection of her life was so clear, vivid, and concise. I became a more recent admirer of her, since I started making treks to the Denver area with my wife after we were married in 1972. My Dad, my 5 yr. old son, and I visited Martha and Myrtle in 1980. My Dad shared many fond memories of the Walden Family. I was blessed to experience a few - visiting Uncle Charlie and Aunt Mae on their farm in the early 60's. I will always cherish my visit with Myrtle in 2003 as she shared briefly, her life's story. To Myrtle's Family ( Walden/ Malin ) - may you ALL find comfort as you recall with fondness the many memories you have shared with Myrtle. Love, Dan Walgenbach
