What a wonderful woman of God and a warrior for the Lord. Rarely was there a service where she would not beat her tambourine and dance before the Lord. She was loving yet firm and straightforward yet compassionate. Her laughter, smile and her eyes that would send you a message long before she said what was on her mind along with her words of wisdom will not soon be forgotten. Mother Smith was a woman of courage and of strength who loved and was loved in return. Thank you family for sharing her with us; know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I had the pleasure of knowing Mother Smith for 44 years. She was always an inspiration to me, always pleasant and concerned about my well being. I witnessed the great faith Mother Smith had during the early 80s; when Emmanuel COGIC experienced a great falling away of members. She stood as a prayer warrior and strong soldier and refused to let her husband's (Church Founder) dream die. God proved himself through her faithfulness and restoration came. Mother Smith's presence will be greatly missed.

Praying for the strength & peace of the family,

Shelly (Scott) Myles

You were the best Mom ever. The perfect representation of God's love on earth. We, your children, are confident of this one thing, that you rest now with your heavenly Father. The void left by your physical presence in our daily lives is immeasurable but the love you showed us EVERY day and the memories we have will strengthen and sustain us until we meet again.
