Nakia Harris Obituary
On March 4. 1982 God smiled down on Linda R. Gardner and Dudley Summrell and blessed them with a Baby Girl, whom they named, Nakia W. Gardner.
Nakia attended Brown Elementary and Bailey Magnet. Nakia worked as a CAN for 20 plus years. Her most recent job was at St. Catherine's Village until she became ill.
Nakia was preceded in death by her mother (Linda), Marcellus Garden (brother), Nicole Garden (sister), grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
On October 22, 2022, God saw her getting weary and picked her flower to come on home.
Nakia leaves to cherish her memories; her husband Anthony Harris, her daughter, Zakeria Johnson, (Kentryll), step-daughter, Ja'Nika Shears (Mack), granddaughter Paisley Givens, her father, Dudley Summerell. Her sister: Charity Jenkins and her brothers: Dudley Gardner (Trevis), Jermaine Dallas (Kirstin), her special Auntie Mom Robin Gardner, special great-niece, Hermany (Queen) Gardner, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Whew!!! Always and forever will be my sister in law, brought back an extremely lot of memories... Over the years we lost contact but never the love. No matter near or far you and Jerome was always my forevers... I love y'all endlessly. I really just wanted to remember you as you were and still is. Get your rest baby girl. Hey Teeda , Its ivory ! Im going to miss you dearly . I cant even get the fact that you’re gone honestly . I wouldve never thought it was going to be you honestly ! but God has the last say so in everything ! I writing on this Guest book a 3rd time one for jay , my gma doris , and now you ! Lord knows i’ve gone through alot but it only made me stronger . I spoke at your funeral today , I think i did good everyone says i did a good job/ and how strong i am just to go up there and speak about you i say im strong as well ! I also carried your flowers ! I did this for you Tete . Your service was the best honestly! you looked so beautiful, gorgeous , fabulous , pretty ! everything in the book you name it ! Kera is really hurt But ik she is strong and she is going to get through it , Because she is strong like that . Kentryll is hurt also , and so is Anthony !
