To know Nanny was to know unconditional love. She had the happiest smile, the warmest welcomes, and the best movie commentary. Nanny graciously welcomed me into her family, and I loved being a part of it. Thank you so much, Nanny, for the most beautiful Christmas, late-night taco runs, card games, hugs, laughs, and for being my adopted grandma. I will always cherish these wonderful memories, and my heart goes out to Nanny´s family.

Our Friendship adventure Started in Highschool I went to Roosevelt and Nancie AHA Chuck Washburn Tim my Honey De LaSalle. We double dated. Had a riot of funTim was in their wedding, We were already married and glad to have good friends. We had our kids close in age and could talk forever about our beautiful families. She always made me feel so loved and cherished. We could talk everyday or every few months . She always wanted to hear all about everything in our lives. Not to gossip, but full of Love & kindness for each friend or family. Love & miss our Nancie After Christmas this year we figured out that we were both in the same hospital at the same time !! We could have had fun Shenanigans

Nancie was a lovely woman. She and I weren´t close friends in high school, but we became better acquaintances over the years through AHA reunions and lunches, and through Facebook.

Unable to really share much as it would become a novel. I had a very eccentric fun mother whom encouraged my love of music, imagination, creativity and a kind heart. She will contribute to live on in my heart.

Two Nancy´s/Nancie found each other and a 50 year friendship and sisterhood bloomed. Laughter, tears, fun , surprises & a common bond formed. From young moms to senior women, a lifetime of memories were always there. I´ll never forget & we remain together always.
