My condolences to the Antonacci family. I had the pleasure of knowing both Nancy and Tony from the moment I arrived in Toronto in 1975. They were wonderful people; generous in so many ways.

I was very fortunate to perform chamber music with each of them numerous times. Always a pleasure. A great loss for all of us who knew them both.

Apart from being a wonderful friend for 45 years, Nancy was a fine and warm pianist. I would also like her to be remembered for, along with Lucy Trow and Bonnie Silver/ Kraft creating our concert series here in Thornhill called Performing Arts York Region. For 26 years we had top notch artists coming here to perform for us locally. Rest in peace Nancy. You've earned it.

Nancy will always be Mrs. Antonacci to me, no matter how many times she invited me to call her Nancy. She and Tony were always so generous - I was always welcome to come for dinner. My fondest memory is when Nancy and Tony came to my place to meet a Russian violinist visiting from Montreal. I had a piano and the violinist asked Nancy if she wanted to play some music. He was preparing for a concert, so he chose a very difficult piece for Nancy to accompany. Every once in awhile, Nancy would shoot me a look that said "what did you get me into". Of course, Nancy more than held her own. My most lasting memory is Nancy's sweet smile. It will be missed.

Nancy was one of the kindest, sweetest people I have had the privilege to know during my lifetime. She was a WONDERFUL spirit, and a very fine pianist. Collaborating with her (musically) was THE FINEST musical experience of my career, and one I shall never forget. Paul, David and Linda, you have my deepest sympathy for your loss, but know that your mother will be remembered with great fondness.

Nancy Antonacci and Lucie Trow were founders of Performing Arts York Region (PAYR), an organization that from the late eighties for more than 25 years brought classical music to Thornhill and the York Region. She and Lucie shared their talents and their homes thus enriching the lives of many.
Rest well Nancy.

Nancy was a wonderful friend. When I was ill many years ago, and had young children and no help, Nancy turned up with cake, made a pot of tea,and brought it to my bedside. She was the most thoughtful of people. Nothing was too much trouble.
I can't count the number of musical events, always with wonderful food and wine, we had at the home of Nancy and Tony. All so memorable.
Dear Nancy, you are very much missed. Knowing you was special. You will never be forgotten. Ann Crichton-Harris

Nancy was one of the kindest people I ever knew. She was full of goodness and beauty and helped me so often. 'Nancy! I have nothing to wear!' 'Let's make a skirt!' 'Can you do that?' 'Sure!' And she did. Such a beautiful person. I loved her.
