Nancy Burnett Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 3, 2024.
Nancy was her own self; bright, opinionated, and loving. One of her greatest pleasures was to be with family. Her nieces anticipated her long hugs and a squeeze of the face. It's how she said, "Hello." More recently, she spent time watching the Dodgers with Philip. He was surprised by Nancy's enthusiasm and knowledge of baseball. Although true, spending time with her brother was the point of the game.

Her career as an executive assistant put her where decisions were made. Why work if it's not Interesting? She enjoyed the intrigue of the legal field and the fast pace of steel manufacturing.

And Nancy loved her family and friends dearly. We'll miss how she stayed in touch with funny cards, texts, and long phone calls. Her whacky humor - we'll never forget.

She is survived by brothers, Philip (Maggie), Martin, and sister, Mary Ann (Bill). Nieces, Veronica (Robert), Sophie (Michael), and Seleste. She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Bibiana and niece, Zoe. Now reunited, her heart is filled with joy once again.

A special thanks to Samir Samarany, M.D., San Antonio Regional Hospital Emergency Department and ICU Staff, the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Department, and Palliative Care who helped Nancy throughout her experience with heart failure.

She appreciated every one of you for your skill and compassion.

A memorial service will be held at St. Peter and St. Paul Church, 9135 Banyan St,

Alta Loma, CA, on May 7th at 11:00 a.m.
