Ron and Family,
I was so sorry to hear about Nancy's passing. Unfortunately I just heard about it today from my daughter so was unable to attend the memorial for her. She was a great friend and she will be sadly missed. I will keep you all in my prayers through the difficult times to come.

I worked with Nancy in my first years of teaching. She was a great source of support and happiness. Her loss saddens me as it saddens so many. I hope her family knows that she was so loved, and that she brought great joy to the lives of those she touched.

Nancy, I hope you knew how important you were to Lori and myself. Being the wonderful mother and mother-in-law that you were you understood how hard I took Lori moving so far away and how grateful and happy I was that you were there for her when I couldn't be. You did so much for Lori and made her feel so welcome, comfortable and loved as part of your family. I have many fond memories of dinners at Pike Lake, visits to your house, Perth Fairs, my surprise birthday parties and so much more. Our shared happiness on Lori and Scott's wedding day and the births of Darren and Charlene. One incident I remember Lori telling me about was when Charlene was just an infant and accidentally locked inside the van and you brought the spare keys to Lori, in the big truck you were supposed to not be able to drive, but that great motherly instinct just jumped in gear and there you were in no time flat. You are a treasure and I cherish the time we had together. My memories will always keep you here. Love Dora Gaudet

Tayside Community Options
October 26, 2007
On behalf of Tayside Community Options, the employees and Board members would like to send heartfelt condolences to Nancy's family. Nancy served as a valued Board member for many years and initiated the Fundraising Committee which provided the Houses and Daycares with many much needed, practical items. But, more than that, she provided energetic and enthusiastic leadership with the vision to see projects to their conclusion however challenging and she was an unfailing supporter of the varied aspects of T.C.O. This organization was extremely lucky to have enjoyed the benefits of Nancy's imagination and tremendous capabilities. Thank you for your "behind the scenes" roles and for sharing her with us.

My deepest sympathies to Nancy's family. I worked with Nancy at Stewart School, both before her retirement and during her post-retirement appearances. She never seemed to change, or tire of being in the school environment. I will remember her laugh and the way she responded positively to anything that came her way. She will be missed, but never forgotten.

Nancy was a "one of a kind" person, treating everyone she met with great kindness. Her love for her job was evident in the way her face radiated love and concern for all the students. My family will forever benefit from the love she gave so freely. Nancy will be greatly missed by all.

Nancy was one of the hardest working people it has been my priviledge to meet. Her smiling face, efficient manner and positive attitude set a wonderful tone in our school setting when she came to work with us at Perth Collegiate. Her family are most fortunate to have had her in their lives. I hope their wonderful memories will be with them always.
