ROCHESTER, N.H. — Nancy J. Cote, 77, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008, at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, after a long illness.
She was born in New Gloucester, Maine on Dec. 1, 1931. She was a longtime resident of Salem, N.H., before retiring in Rochester, where she attended Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 56 years, Albert J. Cote, and their three children, Karen Hurney of Orlando, Fla,, Michele Hawkins and husband Hugh of Barrington and Michael Cote and wife Barbara of Litchfield. She was also the proud grandmother of seven grandchildren.
Nancy's family wishes to extend their thanks to staff members of both the Portsmouth Regional Hospital and Wentworth-Douglass Hospital for their care and compassion during these past weeks. They would also like to express their gratitude to Dr. Maureen Cashman of Rochester for her extraordinary care.
ARRANGEMENTS: In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made in Nancy's name to the American Heart Association. A memorial service will be held for family and friends in the spring.
