I just found out about Nancy´s passing, and my heart aches for you. I will always remember her gentle spirit, her open heart, and the way she made everyone feel at home. She was a light in this world, and her kindness will continue to live on in all the lives she touched. My deepest love and condolences to you and the kida.

What a magnificent career Nancy had, and what a fabulous family she built. She obviously was one of a kind, never to be duplicated. My deepest sympathies to Dan and the rest of the family. Nancy will always be with you through the lessons she taught you, and the memories you shared.

The Moorhead family is very sorry that our vibrant, loving, and funny friend has left this earth. We are all better to have known Nancy and enjoyed her company.
For her loved ones, we send wishes for healing so that happy memories comfort each of you.
Love, Jim+Pattie+Oona+Tuula

I feel honored to have been chosen by Maggie and Peter to spend time with Nancy in Brooklyn while she was rehabilitating from an injury. Nancy´s theater stories left me breathless. She didn´t tell many of her own stories unfortunately-mostly Howard´s- e.g. making his B´way debut as the Apothecary in Romeo & Juliet with Eva La Gallienne. All of the names they worked with are legends, and they were right there with them-legends and mentors to future generations.
