Nancy DiFrancesco

DiFrancesco, Nancy (Reed), Age 87 of Leominster, MA., formerly of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, passed away on March 20, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Gabriel DiFrancesco for 63 years; devoted mother of Mark (Sheila) DiFrancesco of Leominster, MA; Matthew (Mary) DiFrancesco of Fitchburg, MA; Gregory (Mandel Davis) of Chicago, IL and Paul (Sandra Vernet) of Leominster, MA. Predeceased by three infant sons Michael, Paul and Anthony; grandmother of 8 grandchildren Gregory, Peter, Joseph, Mary Kate, William, Ben, Grace, and Gian, great-grandmother of 8 great-grandchildren Maisie, Wyatt, Owen, Brayden, Wesley, Vincent, Freddie and Branch; daughter of the late Mary Salvadore and Harry Reed; special cousin to Diane Dye and Judy Sironovic; auntie to several loving nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved. Nancy was a registered nurse who worked at Euclid Pediatrics until her retirement. She enjoyed working with children immensely. Nancy was very proud to live in the Cleveland Heights community and volunteered to work with their Community Congress for several years. She was an athletic woman who excelled in tennis and won city championships. Nancy also was an avid reader and always had a book in hand. She hosted many dinner parties for her many friends and extended family. She also loved vacationing with her family on Prince Edward Island Canada, Virginia Beach, and Cape Cod. In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations in Nancy's memory be made to Doctors Without Borders.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 29 at St. Cecilia's Church,180 Mechanic St. Leominster, MA at 11:00 A.M. with a burial to follow at MA. Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen St. Winchendon, MA.
