Nancy Eckhoff Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 20, 2008.
Nancy Eckhoff passed on from us on Tuesday, the 20th of May 2008. She was surrounded by family to the end. Nancy is survived by her husband, of 57 years Melvin, her children Mel and Christina Eckhoff, Pam and Neal Wood, Chris and Catherine Eckhoff, and her grandchildren Melissa and Charlotte Vanderhoof, Brad and Chris Wood, Christen, Collin and Cason Eckhoff and great-grandson Tyler Wood. She joins her parents, sister and family in heaven with the peace that she deserves from her physical infirmities. 'Nana' was a loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family and to all that came in contact with her. Her family and friends were the most important part of her life. She spread love to everyone she touched. Even with her many ailments, Nancy always had grin and a quick wit to light up a room. Many thanks from Nancy's family to St. David's Church, her supportive friends, her doctors, Seton Hospital, Hospice Austin, Outreach Health Services, Central Texas Rehabilitation Hospital and Christopher House. Her funeral will be held at St. David's Episcopal Church on Friday, 23 May 2008 at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at Austin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donation to St. David's Episcopal Church, 304 E.7th Street, Austin TX 78701 and Hospice Austin 4107 Spicewood Springs Road, Suite 100, Austin TX 78754.
