I learned of your mom's passing a while back, but just ran across the obituary today. I worked with your father at Baylor Garland as the Technical Director of the Vascular Lab for many years. He always told me that I was so much like your mom, in that we both "never met a stranger". They were like my second set of parents here in Texas, as I was away from my family in California. This picture was taken at one of my daughter's weddings. They both made such an impact in my life, and I will never forget either one of them. I know they loved both of you boys, as well as both of the grandsons. I am terribly sorry for your loss. They were both very special, as I am sure you know.

Michael, Allen,
I have been thinking a lot about your mother lately and have been trying to find her phone number and look for you guys on Facebook..etc... I must have had a premonition about her passing. I only wish I would have asked sooner.
Nancy would come into the restaurant in Richardson and always ask for me. She made me feel so very special. She would take me to plays and take me to dinner. One of the plays that really stick out in my mind was "Six Degrees of Separation". There was a young man in this play that came on stage without clothing. We just looked at each other and laughed until we had tears in our eyes. I am truly sorry for your loss and miss her dearly.

I am truly sorry for your loss. In this world that we live in it is all to often that we lose people we love. But please take comfort in God's word at Matthew 11: 28 it says : " Come to me, all you who are toiling and loaded down and I will refresh you." Just one of many warm words and promises given to us from God's word.

Dear Allen and Michael and Families,

Your mom was an awesome friend with a personality bigger than life. I had so many good times with her, breakfasts, lunches, long, long chats. I have the best memories that leave a big smile on my face! I think about her often and will miss her. So glad that her last days were spent in Houston with family.

One of my lasting images of her will be of her driving that big pickup and stopping by to chat when I was working in the yard, always with her hair perfectly coiffed!
