Nancy Walton Follansbee, died on Monday, December 10, 2018. Nancy was the daughter of Frank R. Walton and Dorothy M. Walton; the mother of Nancy W. Follansbee, Jr. and Brooks W. Follansbee; and best friend to Oscar W. Follansbee. She was preceded in death by her brother, Humphries Miller Walton; and her sister, Mary Josephine W. Schweizer. Nancy had a long career in real estate - 17 years with Scott & McCune, 17 years managing her own company, Follansbee Realty, and 17 years with Coldwell Banker. Nancy was the first president of the Junior Board of Kingsley House, a member of the Dispensary Board of St. Margaret Hospital, and co-chairman of the 1957 Cinderella Ball. She was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church where she served on the Chancel Society. A memorial service will be held at Calvary Episcopal Church, 315 Shady Avenue, on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at 1:00 p.m., with a calling hour at 12:00 noon and immediately following the service. The interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to Calvary Episcopal Church or Allegheny Health Network Cancer Institute would be appreciated.
