NANCY WEBSTER GRADY

Both Nancy and Bob were very special people. I remember swimming at Sandy Beach and listening to the bagpipes coming from Carnes Island on Squam Lake at dusk. A picture of Carnes Island hangs in my family room to remember the good times with the Grady family. I always had fun visiting Nancy with my grandmother Dorothy Forbes who loved all of the "Webster" clan dearly as we all did. My extended condolences to Matthew Grady. We had a lot of fun as kids on Squam. Sending blessings to your family.

I have fond memories of Mrs Grady. We lived next door on Heaths Bridge and she was my tutor at Willard school. She played Matt and I the first jazz I remember really listening too (Les McCann Compared to What).

My childhood was warmed by the presence of Mrs. Grady next door, always gracious, always beautiful, always kind. Through her good works and through her way with people, she left the world better than she found it. My love and condolences to her family.

Such a wonderful neighbor in Conantum growing up and mother to my classmate, Matthew. I remember her a very beautiful woman, always smiling, and had a lovely distinctive voice that attracted everyone's attention. My deepest condolences to her family and friends, thank you for her commitment to the environment and conservation.

A wonderful person and real mother figure in my life. I will miss her.

I shall always remember Nancy's bright smile and warm eyes. She had a kind and loving heart that made you feel accepted and appreciated. She was a gift to all who knew her. My condolences to her family.

Such a beautiful, graceful lady. I will sadly miss our chats in her kitchen, the garden tours, and her wonderful voicemails and emails. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of her friends and family during this time of loss. -Colleen O'Neill

I am a waitress at Pleasant View Retirement, and Nancy was my favorite resident. Although I didn't know her very long, I felt close to her and it brightened my day seeing her smiling face in the dining room every night. I painted her a picture of a rose, and I could tell it made her so happy and from then on we were friends. I was extremely saddened to hear of Nancy's passing, but I know that she is now in a better place, free of suffering. I wish the best for her family, and also for Jim.

Nancy's wisdom still touches us and she was like a mom to us. We remember her in her summer flower gardens, sitting on the porch at squam and her love for her children and grandchildren.
