Nancy Hardman

Nancy L. Hardman, age 74, of Holyoke, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield. She was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late John L. and Edith (Moré) Hardman and was a 1963 graduate of South Hadley High School and a 1965 graduate of Holyoke Business School. Nancy was employed as a Secretary for almost 30 years at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Holyoke and had been a swimming coach at the Holyoke YMCA. Nancy is survived by a sister, Diane L. Loughran and her husband John of Holyoke; a brother, John P. Hardman and his wife Sara-Jane of Rhinebeck, NY; as well as a niece, several nephews, a great niece and a great nephew. Besides her parents she was predeceased by a nephew, Justin Loughran. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in Evergreen Cemetery, Hadley Street, South Hadley. There are no calling hours. The Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street in Holyoke is handling the arrangements.
