I recently googled the AGO, and wondered if Nancy still worked there. Googled her. So sorry, to read of her passing. Though I hadn't seen her in years, I have fond memories of her and our mutual friends. We always addressed her as "Nancy!", with an upbeat, fun, childlike voice. Condolences.

Reflections of our early friendship;
Meeting Nancy in art class, grade 9 opened up my world, she was so talented and inspiring.
Becoming our bridesmaid and sharing the day with us.
Nancy was also Godmother to our first son.
Watching Nancy follow her passion, and share her inner talents through her art work, which are a lasting gift to us all.
I will miss my friends warm smile, quiet elegance and endearing kindness...
I will miss her laughter, always....
Photographs refresh our memories of special moments in time.
Our thoughts are with Nancy's family.

Sincerest condolences to the Hunter family. Nancy was a kind, caring and gentle soul who will for sure be missed.
I remember when we were in elementary school together Nancy could draw an almost perfect horse picture by like grade 3. Her artwork and love for art always amazed me.

Nancy was a treasured colleague and friend at the AGO. Always a nice moment when our paths crossed, whether a quick chat or hello. A talented jewellery maker, I will treasure and think of her when I wear the bracelet she made. My most heartfelt condolences.

Nancy and I knew each other through the AGO. We'd often chat about her work as an artist. our roots in rural communities and her adored nieces and nephews of whom she was very proud. I'll miss her ready smile and laughter whenever we chatted. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.

I consider myself the luckiest person in the world to have had a friend like Nancy in my life. She made me a better person no doubt about it. Always positive and happy to see you. My world was forever changed when I first met Nancy and she will never be forgotten. Love you Nanc, and thank you so much for being you!

I knew Nancy for many years at the art gallery of Ontario.
She was one of those rare people that made going to work by far more pleasant.
Just to see her and say hello.
All I can say ( cliche as it may sound) however it is how I will always feel.
She will always be missed and by no means never be forgotten.
