Nancy E. Kemper, 57, of Boulder passed away October 12, 2016. She was born in Fair Oaks, California to Charles and Margaret (Geers) Kemper.
Nancy grew up and attended school in Reno, NV. She graduated from Reno High School in 1977. She attended the University of Nevada, Reno, College of Business, where she graduated in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. After college, she attended the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in San Francisco. She later earned her Paralegal Certificate from the Denver Paralegal Institute. She met her lifelong companion, John, after moving to Boulder in 1985. Nancy worked as a Paralegal and Executive Assistant at a number of corporations and law firms in the Denver-Boulder area.
Nancy enjoyed traveling, fashion, books, music, movies, and food. She was a person who was always there for people who needed help. On numerous occasions she interrupted her career to travel back to Reno, to care for her father when he was seriously ill, until he passed away in 1996.
Nancy is survived by her loving and loyal companion of 31 years, John Gibilisco; sister, JoAnn Maas (Bob), and their two boys, Andrew and Nick; two brothers, Bill and twin brother, Nelson Kemper (Ruth); their three daughters, Caitlin, Lyndsey and Shelby and her longtime friend, Kelly Langley.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
