Nancy King

On Monday, May 13, 2024, Nancy King, 86 of Lyman, NH, passed away peacefully after a long battle with dementia and other health issues.

Nancy attended high school in both Lisbon, NH and Enfield, CT. She married Jerrold King in June of 1958 and settled in northern New Hampshire to raise their family.

After working at the Littleton Coin Company for over 30 years, Nancy retired and spent the remainder of her retirement between her home in Lyman, NH and visiting her children in Las Vegas, NV and Concord, CA.

Nancy enjoyed travelling with her late husband, painting, gardening, going to yard sales, antiquing, and attempting countless DIY projects around the house. You could also find her travelling to casinos and gambling with family and friends.

Anyone who knew Nancy can attest that her greatest joy was being with her family. She adored her children, grandchildren, and more recently, her great grandchildren, all of which stole her heart the most. She attended countless family gatherings, basketball games, school plays, graduations, weddings, and births. No matter which person she was supporting, she beamed with pride.

In her later years, she spent her remaining life with the staff and residents of the Morrison Nursing Home in Whitefield, NH. The family thanks them endlessly for their patience, support, and communication during her time there. Special thanks to the Nursing Manager and family friend, Holly Davis, for her assistance and grace.

Nancy was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Jerrold King, sister, Charlotte Mitchell of Woodsville, NH, brother, Harry Sherman of Chazy, NY, sister-in-law, Phyllis Sherman of Chazy, NY, and nephew, David Sherman of Rouses Point, NY.

She is survived by her 3 children, Denise Parker of Littleton, NH, Rory King of Las Vegas, NV, and Joel King (and wife Qiaoming) of Concord, CA; her nephews, Harry Sherman, Jr. of Huntington, VT, William Sherman (and wife Lori) of Franklin, NH, and Kenny Sherman (and wife Rattanaporn) of Virgina; her grandchildren, Nicole (Parker) White of Littleton, NH; Amber Parker of Maplewood, NJ, Clinton Parker (and fiancé Holly) of Concord, VT; Jessica (King) Murray (and husband Sean) of Las Vegas, NV; Richard Romero of Las Vegas; and Brandon Marin of Las Vegas, NV; her great grandchildren, Brady and Alex White of Littleton, NH; Dominic Warren, Makayla Savage, and Paxton Parker all of Concord, VT; Hudson and Callen Murray of Las Vegas, NV; Breanna and Logan Marin of Las Vegas, NV. Nancy also leaves behind many close friends.

There will be no formal service as per Nancy's final request. Nancy requested a small family gathering.
