Nancy A. Kissinger, age 85, of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023, in Michigan City.
Nancy was born on Feb. 1, 1938, to Robert and Eleanore (Laure) Reppert, who preceded her in death.
Nancy married the love of her life, Gerald Kissinger, on April 12, 1958, in Michigan City, Indiana. Gerald also is preceded in death.
She is survived by her children, Kevin (Karen) Kissinger of Hartford, Michigan, Cindy Gesse of Michigan City and Laure (Greg) Poulin of Michigan City; grandchildren, Brian (Trish) Kissinger, Elizabeth, Haley and John Gesse, and Sara and Luke Poulin; great-grandchildren, Griffin and Cooper Kissinger; sister, Roberta Snyder; and one niece and two nephews.
Nancy was also preceded in death by her grandson, Steven Kissinger.
Nancy was a 50-year member of the First Presbyterian Church, a director of the La Porte County Meals on Wheels, was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Star Righters Square Dance Club.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Dunes Hospice and Rittenhouse Memory Care.
Friends and family are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 121 W. 9th Street, Michigan City, Indiana, 46360, with Reverend Dr. Ericka Parkinson Kilbourne officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

Nancy was a wonderful woman and a friend to my mother Patricia Bracken during her stay at Rittenhouse . I enjoyed talking with her and even making cupcakes for her birthday one year at her request . My condolences to the family. My prayers are with you all, she will be missed .
