Among my fondest memories of childhood are our journeys to Elizabeth, NJ from Springfield, MA to visit Aunt Sylvia, Uncle Harold, Cousins Nancy, Beverly and Michael. After a 3-hour journey in an non-air-conditioned 1957 Ford Fairlane, I cannot describe the pleasure of walking through the front door of the Horowitz Pharmacy on Grove St. into a blast of air-conditioned splendor, the distinct smell of the pharmacy, the trip to Bradley Beach in the delivery van, and the wonderful company of our relatives. I think my mother, Uncle Harold's twin, was at her most relaxed and happy when we returned to her home turf, and I often find myself overcome by nostalgia when thinking of that time. Nancy and the whole Elizabeth clan played an integral part of that experience and she will be sorely missed by everyone. The prayers and thoughts from our entire family go out to you and yours.

Nancy was the consummate mother. Her home was the preferred gathering for much of my high school years, because of her welcoming nature. My heart goes out to her wonderful children. I know her memory will be a blessing for those close to her. much love and hugs.
