Nancy Lacasse Obituary
She was born in Lewiston, ME, June 16, 1956, a daughter of the late Arthur and Jeanne (Lavertu) Scott and was a 1974 graduate of Lyman Hall H.S. Nancy had worked for Cytec, as a pet groomer, and for the Record Journal. She will be missed for her outgoing personality and sense of humor. She was passionate about animals and her happiest times were when she operated her pet grooming business. She adored her grandchildren and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Jessica Lobner of Wallingford, and James and Tiffany Lacasse of Sparta, Tennessee; her seven grandchildren; her sister, Joline Scott and her husband Robert Billings; and her brother, Wayne Scott and his wife Linda of Auburn, IN.
Due to the pandemic, services will be held during safer times. Arrangements are under the direction of The Wallingford Funeral Home.

I worked in the Lab at Cytec with Nancy and remember her as a hard worker, kind person, always with as smile on her face.She was a part of a family tradition at Cytec, Scottie, Ed, Butch.May Nancy Lacasse`s Soul rest in God`s eternal peace!

Dan, Jamie, Joline, Wayne and families, words cannot express the sorrow I felt when I read this. Your mother/sister and I go back to the 7th Grade, friends all through high-school and beyond. We were not always friends, but we could meet, and it would be as if we were never apart. She was the instigator behind many of our adventures; I had the vehicle, and she had the ideas! I have so many (MANY!) memories of happy times, together!
My most heartfelt condolences to you, all. Will keep your beloved Nancy and her family, in my prayers.

Nancy was one of the nicest people that I have ever met. She was such a hard worker with no complaints. I haven't seen her in awhile but thought of her often and always wished her the very best. She deserved it. Rest in Peace Nancy.
