Dearest Mahaney family, I was shocked to just now learn of Nancy's leaving us and going with God. She was a great woman an I've been missing her.
She comforted me with love and kindness for several years and never complained about her illness. I have kept many of her beautiful writings and will continue to read them with fond thoughts of her.
I am so very very sorry that she left us but I know she is happy.

A wonderful, joyful and thoughtful friend for years to my mom June and me. Kind, generous, filled with the spirit of God's love and a gifted writer who used her talents to bring comfort to many, I love and will miss you so much, Nancy. You and my mom are together in Heaven now.
