Nancy Mullane Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 17, 2024.
Nancy Louise Mullane January 15, 1960 - April 11, 2024. Nancy Mullane, 64, of New Castle, Maine, and Wake Forest, North Carolina, died peacefully on April 11th, 2024. Nancy loved deeply. She was known for her silliness, her generosity, and her distinct and rather insatiable sense of mischief.

In life she took on many roles; a dedicated daughter, devoted partner, and loving mother. In her first career, Nancy was an early childhood educator. A proud NC Central alum, she earned her Masters degree at the age of 41 and reinvented herself as a speech pathologist. After retirement, she revisited her love of young children as a nanny.

She is survived by her husband, Peter, her children, Lauren (Ken) and Thomas (Alex), her sisters Naomi and Kathleen, her former husband Jim (Kathy), her dear nieces and nephew, many friends, and her beloved dog Zoey, who is equally mischievous.

She is predeceased by her parents, Bill and Edie Mullane, her aunt Pat, and her brother-in-law Michael.

We wish her peace on her journey.
