Nancy Louise Piechocki

Nancy Louise Piechocki (nee Solecke) passed away on May 23, 2024, at the age of 89 in Newport Beach, California. She was born on April 28, 1935, in Chicago, Illinois.

Nancy is survived by her children, Gabriele Pierce (Jeff Pierce), Jacqueline Siqueiros (John Siqueiros), David Piechocki (Jennie Piechocki), and Maria Piechocki. She was a loving grandmother to Devin Pierce.

She was preceded in death by her husband Peter Piechocki, her father Alphonse Solecke, her mother Louise Spak, and her stepfather George Spak.

Nancy dedicated her career to serving others. She worked at Chicago National Bank, and at Southwest Savings in Manhattan Beach. She also worked in various positions at Bishop Montgomery High School for 30 years.

A faithful member off St. Lawrence Martyr and St. James Catholic Churches, Nancy found solace and community in her faith. She cherished her time as a Eucharistic Minister at both churches and at Little Company of Mary Hospital.

In her leisure time, Nancy found joy in entertaining and cooking for loved ones. She was an avid traveler, having explored numerous countries, including pre-Castro Cuba. Nancy was a lifelong learner, participating in a Bible study and sewing group. She taught herself how to knit and lovingly crafted hundreds of prayer shawls.

A Funeral Mass in memory of Nancy will be held at St. Lawrence Martyr Catholic Church in Redondo Beach on June 28, 2024.
