Nancy Stanley Sauter

Our family never had the pleasure of meeting Nancy but we shared her heart through her family who we were honoured to love.

My daught Joy died suddenly in January 2020. 6 days after he death I was walking into the Ft Sanders Fitness Club. Nancy was walking out and she noticed my somber face. I tolder her about my daughter and she rushed at me with arms outstretched with a huge bear hug! Of course my eyes were full of tears. Her hug was as if God sent her as an angel unaware. It meant so much to me!

Nancy was Army and I was Navy. We always jousted each other's military service!
Her gleaming smile could be seen from across the parking lot. She was not a hidden gem to those who knew her. I'll always remember her for her genuinious!

I miss Nancy so much. She helped me at the gym in the early hours of the morning. Forever in my thoughts and prayers. She accepted me as trying my best. Thank you

I´m not sure any of you will see this, but i wanted to say that Nancy was one of the most special humans i´ve known. I haven´t been at the fitness center for years, and i just learned of Nancy´s passing today. She helped me so much during very difficult times in my life. I think of her so often. I´m just so sorry for your loss.

I just learned about this tragedy two days ago. I'm shocked and heartbroken for Nancy's family. nacy and I were co-workers for years at Ft. Sanders Health and Fitness Center, and she was always the consummate professional and had a contagious energy and laugh.

Dear Andy and children. I am so saddened by the news of Nancy's passing. I met Nancy 20 years ago at Fort Sanders Fitness Center. Nancy guided me along my fitness path and helped me personally especially when I needed help with health issues and safety. I will miss Nancy and will forever keep her in my mind and heart. She touched my life and enriched my existence more than words can relay. I will wait until Nancy's celebration of life service to meet all of you and to thank you for sharing your best friend and Mom with all of us. God bless each of you. Love and prayers.

I am terribly saddened today to find out about Nancy's passing. I met Nancy several years ago as a personal trainer for several sessions. She absolutely impacted my life in the most positive way through her drive, diligence and giving 150% for every session. I have Nancy to thank for being there for me during a time of pain. Her knowledge guided me through a place of pain to a place of confidence. I really could never thank her enough. She was super-tough but she was just what I needed at that particular time and she was a person who, in addition to being a tough trainer, was a person of great empathy and humor. I am so very sorry for her family, she was so very obviously a wonderful wife and mother. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all. She will be greatly missed.

We, like so many others wonder why God decided to gather Nancy in his arms that day and remove her from this earth away from her family. Faith is what we hang onto these days knowing that she was needed for a higher purpose. We had ever only briefly spoken to Nancy and never had the pleasure to meet her in person but our Canadian family will be forever grateful to Nancy and her loving family for taking care of and welcoming our son Austin into their home and lives. We felt we knew Nancy through her beautiful daughter Charlotte and all the stories she has shared with us over the years. She was loved so deeply and we feel the loss from our home to yours. Our prayers are with you.

We were neighbors for around 23 years, seeing each others kids grow up. I wish I had taken time to talk more, instead of just throw up my hand as we both would come and go. I wish I had spent more time with you. You will be missed Nancy. Sending love and prayers to all the family❤

I had the pleasure of taking Nancys spin class since first moving to town in 2007. 6am Monday morning. I was terrified and dreaded Mondays, but came back week after week for a power packed relentless workout. She was driven and fearless; an amazing motivator, coach and fitness leader. I will miss her.

Nancy was, indeed, a special person. She was smart, fun-loving, and caring. We will miss her smiling face and glowing personality at Fort Sanders. Holly & Jonathan Frey

My heart is heavy hearing the news. Nancy always gave her time to chat after mass and games. She was ready to listen and share her thoughts and laugh without being opinionated. Her joyfulness spread to those around her. My sincere condolences to you all and many prayers. May time heal our sorrow.

So sorry to hear of your loss. We met her at the preschool as Ian and Gracie were classmates. She always had a smile on her face and loved her family. A bright spirit that will be missed here on Earth.

I met Nancy 20 years ago through our kids going to preschool and kindergarten together. What a special, fun, happy, kind, and caring person she was. I am so sad to hear the news of her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Being military retired, we always jousted with each other about the Navy verses Army! Her affectionate smile always melted people's hearts ❤ so no matter where you were coming from, you just had to love her!
One particular time about a year and a half ago, I was walking into FSHC from the parking lot as she was coming out. She saw my downcast face and came to me to ask if something was wrong. I told her that we had just suddenly lost our daughter Joy. As I began to cry, Nancy lunged at me with open arms and bear hugged me for minutes on end! She was the first person to hug me at Ft Sanders. She was God's angel in disguise!
May the Holy Spirit lavish your family with is grace in this tragic time of your lives.

I met Nancy about 7 years ago when I joined Fort Sanders and took the first spin class and knew then how incredibly special she was. I loved her passion, drive, heart and desire to help others be their very best. She had the most wonderful smile and an inspiration to all. My thoughts and prayers go out to her best friend-Andrew, children, family and friends. Nancy will always live in our memories and I praise God for the opportunity to know her.

Such a special person that cared more about others than herself. I am blessed to have known her. I always enjoyed taking her spin class as she pushed all of us to work hard. Nancy will be missed tremendously.

I am so sorry for the loss of Nancy. I have so many good memories of her from middle school and high school. I am thinking of her entire family.

Nancy was a special person throughout my adolescence and High School. We roller skated in the East Aurora 4th of July parade and were dance buddies throughout high school taking Jazz lessons together for years. We shared many laughs. She had a beautiful smile and such a fun personality. Im sorry we lost touch and Im so sorry for the family. You will be in my prayers and I will remember my old friend fondly. Tina Sansone-Osmond
