McHENRY - Nancy C. (Nikola) Weingart of McHenry, died Saturday, April 23, 2005, at Northern Illinois Medical Center in McHenry after a 13-month battle with lung cancer.
Survivors include six children, Christine (John) Brandt of Middleton, Wis., Sara (Steve) Jozwiak of McHenry, Leisa (William) West of Gurnee, Gregory Weingart of Wauwatosa, Wis., and Scott and Jeffrey Weingart, both of McHenry; seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Matthew and Stuart Weingart, Michelle and Stephen West, and Shelby and Sydney Jozwiak; a great-grandchild, Cheyenne Weingart; an aunt, Irene (Alexander) Topp of Peachtree City, Ga.; and many cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 29, at Colonial Funeral Home, 591 Ridgeview Drive, McHenry. It will continue from 9:30 a.m. Saturday, April 30, until the funeral Mass is celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of Holy Apostles, 5211 W. Bull Valley Road, McHenry. The Rev. Robert Sherry will officiate.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society McHenry County Chapter, in care of Janet Smith, 200 S. Green St., McHenry, IL 60050.
