Nancy L. Wolf

Nancy Lee Wolf (Nan/"Nana"), age 91, of Denver, Colorado passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019. Nancy was born January 20, 1928 to Janet Morse (Conkling) and James Clayton Walker in Bozeman, Montana. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 65 years, Lyle Farquhar ("Fog") Wolf.

Nancy is survived by her daughters, Becky Freeman of Denver, CO, Wendy (David) Kurtz of Apopka, FL and Vicky (Mark) Beeson of Denver, CO; her grandchildren, Abbie Freeman of Littleton, CO, Amie (Gerardo Rosales) Freeman of Northglenn, CO, Nina Freeman of Denver, CO, Cody Kurtz of Singapore, Amanda (Jason) Russell of White Oak, PA, Clay Beeson of Denver, CO, Tibby (Lance) Shipley of Denver, CO, Samuel (Sabryna) Beeson of Denver, CO, Victor (Genevieve) Beeson of Copperas Cove, TX; her great-grandchildren, Zachary Rudd of Athens, Greece, Jakob Williams, Gerardo "Junior" Rosales, Jr, Domenyk Rosales and Enrique Rosales, all of Northglenn, CO, Amiya, Cairo and Ayla Holguin, all of Denver, CO and Carson Beeson of Denver, CO; her brothers, David (Marcia) Walker of Tabernash, CO and James (Coleen) Walker of Wimberley, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends.

For decades, Nan and Fog split their time between Denver and the Tabernash/Winter Park area, with homes in both places, as well as a cabin on Kenosha Pass. They were avid bowlers and golfers. Nan not only participated, she was usually the organizer, secretary/treasurer of the various leagues, and the communicator that kept things going.

Nana always had some craft project going, making Christmas stockings for members of the family, creating whole Christmas villages to be enjoyed each year, and numerous artistic cross-stitch wall hangings that decorated their home, and now beautify the homes of her extended family. In addition, she was a serious collector. Antique irons and trivets, porcelain, tea cups, wind socks, stamps, and a wide assortment of other items filled her home.

For over 50 years, Nan would gather with Englewood High School friends for various events, especially for making Christmas cookies, which were the most prized Christmas gifts of all for her children and grandchildren. Nana always made sure the family felt loved and welcomed in their home, hosting holiday and birthday dinners for many, many years. We remember those times with great warmth and love and are grateful for the generous spirit she always demonstrated. We will always cherish these memories of her and miss her greatly.

A Funeral Service for Nancy will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 6601 South Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121, followed immediately by a Committal Service in the cemetery. A Celebration of Life Reception will begin at 12:30 pm at the Beeson Residence, 4667 South Yates St, Denver, CO 80236. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meadow View Assisted Living in Nancy's memory.
