Louisburg, North Carolina - Nancy Moore Wright, 61, of Louisburg, passed away on December 6, 2022. She was born on June 4, 1961, to Jeanette Jones Mustian and the late Ronald Baxter Moore. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister Gwen Martin. "Nan" as we all so affectionately called her grew up in Shelby, NC. As a child she and Gwen had a Leave It to Beaver childhood and she enjoyed camping with her best friend Rhonda. She was a super good mom who adored her children, Nan was a talented artist and Raku potter, she loved animals, she was tender hearted, sweet, sensitive, and always took up for the underdog.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Dr. Clark Wright (Allie), daughter, Meredith J. Wright, granddaughter, Willow Rose Wright, stepbrothers, Blake Mustian and Timmy Mustian, numerous nephews and cousins and her special cousin, Donna Marshall.
Service will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Chapel, 804 N. Bickett Blvd. Louisburg, NC with Reverend Amanda Bowman officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
