Naomi was my mother's step sister. We visited with her a couple of times in Louisville over the past few years. She was a warm hearted, classy lady, who welcomed my son, Ryan, when he located to Louisville in 2000-2001. Her and Jimmy were so kind to him and invited him over to their house and out with friends. We enjoyed hearing her stories of when she was in the "How the West was Won" and working with Jimmy Stewart, Walter Brennan, & Debbie Reynolds one summer in Paducah back around 1960. Will miss her and never forget her kindness to our family.

I remember Naomi and Bill early on when I joined Crescent Hill. Bill was a usher, and always greeted you with a warm smile. Naomi was always there too. She reminded me so much of my late mother, that I told her once, and she was so appreciated that compliment. After Bill passed away, and she and Jimmy were married, they too, were very involved at church, in the last few years as their health prevented them from doing alot, they would call Brian and I, and ask us to please use the magnolia from their yard to help decorate our church during Advent. We will miss their smiles, and presence at church. They have now joined that great cloud of witnesses that surrounds our balcony on Sunday mornings.
