New Iberia – Funeral Services will be held at Pellerin Funeral Home at 2:00pm on Saturday, July 8, 2023, for Nash John Doucet, 2, who passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023, in Lafayette, LA.
Rev. Keith Landry will officiate.
Interment will follow in Beau Pre Cemetery in Jeanerette.
Visitation will be the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00am until 2:00pm.
A rosary, led by Deacon Durk Viator, will be prayed at 11:00 am on Saturday.
Nash was born in Lafayette, Louisiana on September 23, 2020. He was all boy, sweet and tough, and the happiest baby ever. He loved Mickey Mouse and anything with wheels, especially trains and buses, but above all else he loved his brother, Noah. Although his life on earth was short, he touched so many lives with his infectious smile and personality. He will be deeply missed.
Nash leaves behind a loving family, including his mother, Shelby Menard; father, Josef Doucet (Brittany); siblings, Noah, Koryn, Kainen and Ryker; maternal grandmother, Nicole Wyman (James); maternal grandfather, Kendall Menard; paternal grandmother, Shannon Boudoin (Allen); paternal grandfather, Randall Doucet (Sonya); uncles, Dylan Menard (Christina), and Chance Doucet (Lauren); aunts, Sydney Moore, Mary Liu, Jessica Schaubert (Zachary), and Makenna Landry (Seth); maternal great uncle, Steven Bouton (Victoria); maternal great-grandparents, Cindy and Barry Bouton, Tim Hance (Elizabeth) and Francis and Barbara Menard; maternal great-great-grandparents, Frances St. Pierre, Audrey Thibodeaux, Ella Mae Bouton; paternal great-grandmother, Julie Capino (Danny); and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family who loved Nash so much.
Nash was welcomed into heaven by his maternal great-great-grandfathers, Roland Thibodeaux, Harry St. Pierre, Calvin Bouton, and Joe Doucet; great aunt, Laura Hebert; great uncle, Jimmy Hendry; maternal great-grandparents, Pearl and Frank Wyman; and great-great-grandmother, Owena Hendry.
Pallbearers will be Chance Doucet, Dylan Menard, Reagan Delahoussaye and Travis Thibodeaux.
