Natalie Cartwright Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 18, 2024.
On October 31, 2024, Natalie Jane Cartwright, a cherished and compassionate soul, entered the arms of Jesus Christ after a severe fall resulted in a traumatic brain injury. While her family and friends mourn her earthly absence, they find comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her beloved father in heaven.

Natalie was born on July 18, 1990, at Sutter Memorial Hospital in Sacramento, California. A proud Sacramentan for most of her life, she built countless treasured friendships and memories in the area. She attended Babcock Elementary, Arden Middle School, and graduated from Victory Christian High School in 2008.

From a young age, Natalie had a deep love for God, the church, and fellowship, which inspired her to attend Victory Christian High School and continued to strengthen her faith throughout her life. After high school, she pursued college courses and worked proudly in government and public service, dedicating herself to making a positive impact on the Sacramento community.

Natalie's love of books and storytelling was a defining part of her personality. A lifelong Harry Potter enthusiast, she found joy and inspiration in the wizarding world, and her resemblance to Hermione Granger both in appearance and intellect was often remarked upon by those who knew her. Her passion for magic and wonder carried into her life, making her a source of light, curiosity, and joy for everyone around her.

However, Natalie's greatest passion and joy were her family and friends, especially her two beloved children, Olivia and Nolan, who were the center of her world. She adored them with every ounce of her being. Natalie is survived by her mother, Leslie Wagner; her brother, John Cartwright; her sisters, Sara Cartwright and Brooke Cartwright; and many more people that loved her deeply. Her warmth, humor, and faith left an indelible mark on everyone she touched.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Natalie's life at her memorial service, which will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at River City Christian Church (10933 Progress Court, Rancho Cordova, California). To help us honor Natalie's memory, please RSVP by emailing [email protected] or calling (916) 969-8582.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to support Olivia and Nolan's fund for the futures are deeply appreciated. Donations can be made at the following link:

Natalie's beautiful spirit, unwavering faith, and profound love for her children will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her. As we celebrate her extraordinary life, we take solace in knowing she is now in the presence of her Savior to live out eternity.

When my daughter learned that her Auntie Natalie wouldn´t be here anymore, she broke down in tears. Through her sobs, she told me that Auntie Natalie always treated her with the same love and care she showed Olivia, making her feel so cherished.

Saying we miss you, Natalie, feels like such an incredible understatement.
