I was incredibly blessed, to have been Natasha´s " helper" for the year, when she injured her back. I am an interior designer for many years in SanDiego, and we had much in common! She was incredibly wise, and had much to share. I will ALWAYS miss her. Incredible woman and human being. With much love, Jackie Dampier

My sincerest sympathies to Dr. Josefowitz´s family! I am grateful for her book Living Without the One You Cannot Live Without,
It did give me comfort and still does after the loss of my beloved husband of 58 years.
I hope this book will be put back in print as it is a valuable grief help reading!

I have just learned of Natasha´s passing. I was one of the lucky ones, to have been her companion for a year, at White Sands. A most inspiring, intelligent, talented, compassionate, driven, loyal, and tender hearted soul. You made a tremendous impact on me, that year, sweet Natasha. You are so missed , by so many.... Deep condolences to your family .

I watched Natasha's video where she read her poems and wished I had the pleasure of knowing her while alive. But I now have the blessing of knowing about her legacy. May we continue her humor and legacy in her memory for years to come. Heaven just received their newest angel!

I lead a grief support group . Natasha´s book, Living Without the One You Can´t Live Without is the best book on dealing with grief I have ever seen. In fact I have given this book to several friends as gifts. I went online last night to buy a copy to give away and was disappointed to find the book is no longer in print. Natasha was a master at just " telling it like it is".

Natasha and her column in the La Jolla Village News will be sorely missed. I have enjoyed reading her perspective on aging which I have found inspiring because she shared her personal experiences and her vulnerabilities of each stage of her life. My condolences to the family. Warmly, Charlotte a La Jolla neighbor

I want to express my gratitude for Dr Josefowitz's fine and often thought-provoking column in the local San Diego Community Newspapers. She articulated important and insightful issues about aging that are often ignored and rarely written about, especially by someone who is facing those issues. Perhaps there will be a collection of some of the best columns made into yet another one of her books so that her wisdom may be shared with a wider audience. My sympathies to her family and loved ones.

Natasha was an amazing woman who most certainly had quite an impact on many. I had the good fortune of assisting Herman and her move into The White Sands where she was greatly welcomed. Her articles in The Village News were very honest and insightful. I will miss them. My thoughts are with her family.

We, CS & Sue Yang, have been inspired by Natasha's spirit, knowledge kindness, and philosophy of life. In our first visit to White Sands in November 2021, we had the pleasure of visiting Natasha's beautiful apartment overlooking the ocean. We were impressed with her achievements and sincerity. We learned a great deal reading the book she wrote and gave us on "Retirement-the Next Great Adventure. "

After moving to White Sands in December 2022, we were even more impressed with Natasha's genuine friendliness, encouragement and support to us to form the Food/Nutrition Information Committee. She not only became an active member, but also offered to host our committee meetings in her apartment. Natasha gave us great encouragement by saying, "Your willingness to share your knowledge of food and nutrition with the White Sands community is truly meaningful and will benefit many people." Natasha has done so much to encourage residents to build a better and more responsive community in the 20 years she has lived here.

Natasha, may you rest in peace. We will miss you and never forget you.

Warm regards,
CS & Sue Yang
